About the Class...

Students will explore basic technology, various technology applications and design concepts. They will apply these concepts through a number of hands-on activities and projects. Problem solving, critical thinking, and career connections are key elements of this course.

Wish List for our class:

--Pencils
--Washable markers
--Newspapers
--Mini hot glue gun sticks
--Popsicle or craft sticks
--Drill Bits: Any sizes standard and up to 1" paddle bits
--Hand saws: coping, hack, rough and fine cut cross-cut
--Nails, sheet metal screws, nuts, and bolts. Any size.
--Scrap PVC in manageable lengths: 1/2" up to 3" schedule 40 or regular
--Wood blocks: 2x2, 2x4, etc.
--Cordless drills
--Small table top scroll saw
--Home Depot/Lowe's gift cards

-Super glue or gorilla glue (lots)

-Aluminum sheets

-Screw Drivers

-Popscicle sticks or craft sticks

-Any other water proof or resistant material that the students could use for their projects.

-Batteries

-Wire pliers

-Wire strippers

-Old tool boxes

-Saws of all kinds

-Wiring
